A Place For Mom

Born from a daughter’s love and devotion, this project was designed to bring care and comfort to both mother and daughter as they navigate the challenges of dementia. Two side-by-side homes allow them to live closely connected while maintaining independence, a thoughtful layout centered on dignity and daily ease.

Single-level living, wide passages, and accessible design features ensure safety and comfort for aging in place. At the same time, soft light, warm materials, and familiar textures create a sense of calm and belonging. Every element, from the flow of the spaces to the gentle transitions between indoors and out, was considered to ensure her mother’s final years were not only secure but also beautiful. A true home built from love.
